Constance Harding is not your average Surrey housewife. Alongside her fondness for bell-ringing, biscuit-baking and match-making, Constance was also the star of a hugely popular blog written for Telegraph.co.uk.  And now Ceri Radford’s brilliant comic character is the heroine of A Surrey State of Affairs, the laugh-out-loud debut novel, to be published by Abacus on 31 March.

Something of a blog aficionado, Constance also returns online in a brand new series of blog posts detailing her life as a fledgling author. As a special Friday treat we have the first 150 words for you!
