The shortlists for the 2011 Galaxy Awards have been announced today, and we have three authors nominated.

Gregg Hurwitz for You're Next (WHSmith Paperback of the Year)
Val McDermid for Trick Of The Dark (Thriller & Crime Novel of the Year in association with iBookstore)
Iain M Banks for The Player Of Games, narrator Peter Kenny (audible.co.uk Audiobook of the Year)

This year's awards will be announced on 4th November.
