In exactly six days we publish The Vintage Teacup Club, the wonderful debut novel from Vanessa Greene.
An uplifting tale of life and love, careers and families, and a friendship forged over a very special set of vintage teacups, we have been overwhelmed by all the positive responses we have already received for the book. Praise has been flooding in from women’s fiction bestsellers Trisha Ashley and Carole Mathews, to book bloggers, to completely impartial readers alike. One thing everyone agrees on is that Vanessa Greene’s debut is heart-warming fiction at its very best – the perfect autumn read for vintage and crafts enthusiasts, fans of authors like Elizabeth Noble and anyone looking for something cosy and satisfying.
To celebrate publication of The Vintage Teacup Club we’ve teamed up with I Made It Myself, who run fun, contemporary craft workshops in West London. We are offering one lucky winner the chance to attend I Made it Myself’s signature (and highly sought after) vintage jewellery workshop on the evening of 17th October.
The Prize:
First Prize
One lucky winner will receive tickets to attend the I Made it Myself jewellery making workshop plus a copy ofThe Vintage Teacup Club for themselves and one friend.
During the 2 hour class, the winner and their friend will be guided through key jewellery techniques and enjoy choosing from a treasure trove of vintage pearls, charms and chains to create a unique and bespoke necklace or bracelet which they can keep at the end of the class. And in keeping with the book, tea and cake is served in vintage china along the way!
