To mark the publication of Elizabeth Chadwick's new novel Lady of the English, we're offering all you history buffs the chance to win a year's membership to English Heritage by entering our Empress Matilda quiz.
About the Author
Elizabeth Chadwick has written 19 historical novels. The winner of a Betty Trask Award for her first novel, she has been shortlisted five times for the RNA Major Award, and won the Historical Novel Prize this year for To Defy A King.
About Lady of the English
Lady of the English, released on 2nd June 2011, explores two very different women linked by destiny and the struggle for the English crown.
