Won: A Manic Mum-Day Survival Kit!
Posted by Carleen Peters in Competitions, Recommended Reading, Sphere
This time last month Sphere released Just Another Manic Mum-Day, the second laugh-out-loud novel from Mink Elliott, author of the bestselling The Pi**ed-Off Parents Club. To celebrate, we offered three of you the chance to get your hands on a manic mum-day survival kit containing everything you could possibly need to get you through even the most manic of (mum)-days. Three runners-up were also offered the chance to nab a copy of the book absolutely free!
Congratulations to Kirsty ‘Pukkapad’, Christina Sabbagh and Maryann Davison, who each win a survival kit, and to Carol Coldicott-Stirmey, Antonia Luther-Jones and Lesley Bain who each get a copy of the hilarious Just Another Manic Mum-Day to call their very own.
Thanks to everyone who entered the competition. Your suggestions for items to get us through our most manic days were all spectacular, but some of our particular favourites included: wagging fingers, litre bottles of pop (especially Iron Brew!), yummy chocolate of all varieties, hugs, supportive hubbies, patient friends, smartphones, lip-glosses, ink (!?), oranges, not to mention the bundles of joy themselves! You can also find out what the ultimate top five survival kit essentials were (as voted by hundreds of you) on the Between the Sheets Facebook Fanpage.
Just Another Manic Mum-Day is available from all good booksellers now. To read a first chapter extract visit Mink’s website.
